There are some things you need to put into consideration before you actually go into the competition and present your work.
You need to first make sure that the work you present is your best. Am assuming that you probably have a number of art works and also have a favorite one. You also have to bring something that best presents you. That way, you will be able to explain your work if the need arises.
Photograph your work as that is what the juror will use to judge you art. Once you are in the art competitions, you need to present the art work the best way possible. This means that you have to have the best frame and stand to impress the juror. A good frame also makes your work fine and if some one happens to like your work ad would like to buy it, they usually want something that they will take home directly and hang.
Always enter a number of pieces that you will be able to present. This means that if you can only handle one; don’t bring two into the art contests.
